CFCC’s Wilson Center welcomes Chuck Leavell

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) has announced that renowned keyboardist and award-winning environmentalist Chuck Leavell will take CFCC’s Wilson Center stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024.

This ticketed event is free and open to the public through the Wilson Center’s HelloArts! program. Advance tickets must be reserved at WilsonCenterTickets.com.

Chuck Leavell is a legendary rock-and-roll keyboardist. Leavell played as a session musician after jumpstarting his career by touring and recording with the Allman Brothers Band. He recorded with artists such as George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Train, The Black Crowes, John Mayer, Miranda Lambert, and more. He has also recorded five solo albums.

Ticket reservations will be available to Wilson Center Members, CFCC donors, students, and staff beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, and to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2. Tickets can be reserved at wilsoncentertickets.com, or by contacting the box office at (910) 362-7999 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
