Chuck Leavell and the Randall Bramblett Band

A rare pairing of Georgia’s top musicians is happening June 6. Chuck Leavell and Randall Bramblett have been making music together since the early 70’s when both were in Macon, Georgia and connected to the Allman Brothers and their network of musicians. Bramblett joined Leavell’s band, Sea Level, in 1977. Fifty years later both have had extensive careers on their own, playing plenty of big venues and intimate theaters worldwide. Bramblett’s long time guitarist, Nick Johnson, joined Widespread Panic in January, stepping in while Jimmy Herring recovers from cancer treatment. The band is rounded out by Michael Steele on bass and Gerry Hansen on drums, long-time musicians with both bandleaders. Atlanta band Ansley and The Hold open the show.
